These are the opening credits to a super-intense movie called Lady In a Cage, about an elderly heiress who uses an elevator to get between her first and second floors. One day the elevator shorts out and she's trapped in the cage. Her cries for help eventually reach a drunkard who robs her, then three greaser youths who torment her and destroy her home.

wasnt there another version of this movie in color?? I remember seeing the same story but in color with hippies
